Inspired by the greatest, gayest feuds of professional wrestling, Hard Times is a tabletop game for two players about a pair of wrestlers trying to make the feud they’ve been given by their promotion not just a series of matches, but a legend.
Hard Times is a hack of Alex Roberts’s incredible Star-Crossed and uses the stacking tower mechanic (or an online analogue) to create tension and suspense. When the tower falls, will your feud have been forgettable midcard filler, or will you go down in the annals of wrestling history as two of the greats? Play to find out.

Hard Times is real dramatic, and real gay, and I love it! It's incredible, it uses the tumbling tower popularized by Dread & Star Crossed to create the sexual tension of two wrestlers in a melodramatic feud. I know very little about pro wrestling but this game does a great job at telling me what I need to make an amazing story. The text comes from a place of love, and inspires me with great gay feelings. I love this game!
